Sweet Dreams Are Made of This

Today was a happy happy day at our house. Our new Select Comfort, Sleep Number Memory Foam topped bed was delivered! I can't tell you how excited I was this morning to strip our old spring mattress of the bedding and prepare it for its removal. Heck even me who gets sentimental about the DUMBEST things didn't feel even a pang of sadness when I left the house this morning knowing I would never have to see or sleep on that mattress ever again. I know it will take a bit of time to get used to the new bed and find my magic "sleep number" but I am sure it won't be long and I will no longer wake up stiff, sore and more often then not with a headache.

I think Anna was likely the most sad to see the mattress go. She likened it to her own personal indoor trampoline (which no doubt contributed to its demise). Of course for all the times I caught her jumping and asked her to stop today was the only day she ever actually asked if she could jump on it. Bill captured her having a last hurray.
