Running On The Beach

I got up early this morning to head to the beach to run. Originally I got up at 5:30 but it was so dark out and being a female by myself that didn't seem like a wise time to head out so I didn't head out until about 6:45. Although temps were in the low 70's the humidity more than made up for it. I am posting photos below of my journey to the beach. I have never run on the beach and highly recommend it if you are a runner and if you get the opportunity. I have to say there is nothing quite like the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach.

Here is how my journey started:

Now all I want you to tell me is what FOOL would try to feed the Alligators???!! In MN we have signs that say "Please Do Not Feed the Geese." I eyed the water and surrounding greens suspiciously but fortunately saw nothing.

Here is what I saw when I got to the beach — isn't it beautiful?

I ran down to the condos in the photo above and this is what I saw as I looked back:

On my run back I stopped for a moment to snap some shots of this bird searching for food in the waves.

Here is a sign noting the beach I ran on.
